This week is Patient Access Week! We would like to take this time to recognize and thank the dedicated staff who make up our Patient Access Department.
Patient Access Week, sponsored by the National Association Healthcare Access Management, takes place March 31 – April 6, 2019. This year's national theme, "Patient Access: Soaring to New Heights" compliments our staffs’ commitment to provide exceptional service year-round to countless patients who put their trust in us to treat their cancer.
Patient Access is a critical element of the Karmanos experience for medical staff, clinical support, patients, and their families and friends. Patient Access staff are required to be familiar with the clinical, operational and financial aspects of the service we provide our customers. Their knowledge, patience and perseverance help thousands of patients each year.
