The McLaren Imaging Center uses all digital technology including 3D mammography, CAD and a 64 slice CT Scanner. Other services available are general imaging, ultrasound technology, fluoroscopy and nuclear medicine. Our highly-trained staff includes on-site fellowship trained radiologists. The center is recognized by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

Utilizing advanced breast tomosynthesis technology, 3D exams are clinically proven to significantly increase the detection of breast cancers, while simultaneously decreasing the number of women asked to return for additional testing. The technology available at our imaging centers is also the only 3D mammography exam approved by the FDA as superior for women with dense breasts.
The 3D mammography exam has revolutionized how breast cancer is detected by providing a better option for women of all breast densities compared to 2D alone. Researchers have found that a 3D exam:
