The Volunteer Guild at McLaren Macomb
The Guild was formed in 1955 by the original group of the hospital's volunteers and continues today to provide structure for volunteers. All volunteers belong to the Volunteer Guild of McLaren Macomb, whose primary concern is for the well-being of our patients.
The Guild's mission statement is: "To reach out into the community in partnership with the hospital, to improve the health of the people we serve through fundraising and volunteer service."
The Volunteer Guild sponsors many fundraising events. In additional to funding specific medical items and projects for the hospital, the Guild has been known to sponsor various community and international outreach endeavors. To date, the Guild has raised over $3 million for the hospital.
Once you become a part of the McLaren Macomb volunteer team and you'd like to get a little more involved, Guild Meetings are held once a month September to May. Why not plan on joining us for an enjoyable afternoon? Meet your fellow volunteers, listen to an informative speaker and enjoy some refreshments.
