Angela Vivano, NP-C, has been a health care provider in women's health her entire career. She began her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse — caring for the health needs of women in labor and immediately postpartum, as well as the immediate health needs of their newborn infants.
After nearly 13 years, she went on to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) where she was trained to care for all patients across the lifespan. Following completion of the program, she returned to a private practice obstetric and gynecology office where she cared for the gynecologic needs of women beginning with adolescence through post-menopausal health. Her strong interest in oncology urged her to pursue the career that she currently hold as a Women's Wellness Clinic at Karmanos. This role has allowed her to merge knowledge of gynecology with oncology and continue to care for all of women's health needs.
