Local Accommodations

At the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, we understand distance should not be a deterrent to getting the best cancer care available. If you are coming from out of town, our goal is to make your stay as easy and convenient as possible. To assist you, our Karmanos team has negotiated special rates at local hotels for patients, family members and caregivers traveling to Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit and Farmington Hills. These special rates apply when you mention you're a Karmanos patient, family member or caregiver.

Please note that these preferred rates that have been negotiated for your stay are based on room availability and may not be available on every date. All acceptable taxes are in addition to the nightly rate, unless 30 consecutive days are spent at the hotel, at which point they become sales tax exempt.

The hotels listed were selected after a rigorous assessment by the Karmanos team to ensure they meet the safety, environmental, comfort and sanitary standards we require for our patients and their families.
