Jennifer Beebe-Dimmer, Ph.D., MPH, leader of the Population Studies and Disparities Research Program, scientific director of the Epidemiology Research Core at Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, and professor in the Department of Oncology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, joins Good Day Northern Michigan to talk about CAPABLE (Cross-Training and Physical Activity: A Better Life Experience). CAPABLE is a free, 12-week physical activity class for cancer survivors that explores how exercise improves the quality of life. Enrollment is open for cancer survivors in the Petoskey area.
