Evita Singh, M.D., diagnostic radiologist, director of breast imaging and member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined Sunday Edition during Women’s Health Month to talk about breast health. She encouraged women to forgive themselves if they have missed their mammograms, but to get their next one scheduled. Dr. Singh explained how every woman who gets a mammogram at the Women’s Wellness Clinic at Karmanos takes a high-risk breast assessment to understand their risk for developing breast, colon and lung cancers. She also shared information for this year’s Pink Out the Park with the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, June 8.
