Scott Kizy, M.D., surgical oncologist at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint and Clarkston, joined Good Morning Mid-Michigan and discussed colorectal cancer. He covered who may be at a higher risk of developing the disease, who should get a colonoscopy, and symptoms not to ignore. Dr. Kizy is also a member of Karmanos’ Gastrointestinal and Neuroendocrine Oncology Multidisciplinary Team.
